Beijing, Shanghai - China - Sports Tours

A sporting tour to China is a must for all students. Not only will the opportunity arise to play your choosen sport but also visit some of the worlds most famous landmarks - the Great Wall of China. Rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in China, as least in terms of profile. Established in the 90’s, with its main base around Beijing, the High School programme and that of the Forces have begun to steadily improve with the input of coaches and development officers from overseas Unions. Hong Kong in particular is a place where rugby union has been long established, partly as a result of its being a British colony. In contrast to Mainland China, it has had a continuous existence dating back over a hundred years, and is of course most notable for its sevens tournaments. Remembering Australia at War - France & Belgium-France-History Tours

Paris is the gateway to the historical region of Normandy where Australian history tours have the opportunity to retrace and experience the battlefields and beaches that were an integral part of World War II. BRATISLAVA 6-9 JULY 2017-Europe-Music Festivals

This festival for orchestras and choirs provides an opportunity to participate in and contribute to the rich cultural atmosphere of Bratislava, with opportunities to perform in beautifully ornated churches, concert halls and outdoor settings in the historical centre of the city. Groups may choose to participate on either a non competitive or competitive basis in a variety of different categories.

Tokyo, Nagasaki, Hiroshima-Japan-History Tours

Retrace the history of World War II and the world's first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90 percent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people; tens of thousands more would later die of radiation exposure. Three days later, another A-bomb landed on Nagasaki, killing an estimated 40,000 people. Japan's Emperor Hirohito announced his country's unconditional surrender in World War II in a radio address on August 15, citing the devastating power of 'a new and most cruel bomb.' Students will have the opportunity to visit the memorial sites and museums that are located in both of these cities.
